Blairgowrie Building has a team of friendly, hard working, qualified & committed staff that take pride in the work they do every day.

Mike Lee, Director, Qualified Builder (BCITO, 2015), Licensed Building Practitioner (LBP), Registered Master Builder (RMB).

Originally from a farming background before heading overseas, returning to New Zealand a few years later & qualifying as a builder while working on large-scale projects for some of Wellingtons biggest commercial contractors primarily involved in structural foundations and structural concrete works on high rise buildings.

In 2020 Mike started Blairgowrie Building Ltd & has since been successfully operating in the residential & small to medium commercial building industry.

Mike is married to Caroline & has 3 kids. When he’s not at work, he’s at the Johnsonville cricket club watching his kids play, or at the Johnsonville rugby club coaching junior rugby. When he’s not doing this, he’ll be away for a fish or a hunt.

Jackson Hughes, Qualified Builder (BCITO 2024)

Jackson started at Blairgowrie as an apprentice in 2022 & qualified in 2024. He is a very competent builder & quickly became an important part of the team.

Tui Langford, Qualified Builder (BCITO 2023)

Tui started at Blairgowrie in 2022 already part way through his apprenticeship. He quickly proved himself to be a reliable and competent member of the team and in 2023 became a qualified builder.
